Rebecca Warren, an undergraduate student in the Anthropology Department at UKC, has recently arrived in the town of Puerto Maldonado in Amazonian Peru, where she will spend a year as a volunteer with the Tambopata Reserve Society (TReeS). TReeS is a small non-governmental organisation that supports local initiatives relevant to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development in the Tambopata region of Madre de Dios State in southeast Peru.
