Anthropology Intermedia Library
This is an experimental section for books which are out of print. This will only be successful if
- authors of these books who retain rights for electronic publication of their book will permit them to be stored here, and
- other anthropologists will volunteer to scan, edit and format these for publication on the Internet.
CSAC will donate storage for up to 1000 books as an initial committment, though there is no reason that the Library need be located at one site.
If you are able to contribute either a book or labour, please email M.D.Fischer@ukc.ac.uk with details. If you want to allow us to 'reprint' your book it is essential that you possess the rights to do so. Check your book contract carefully. If you want rights returned for your book contact publishers NOW, since they will become less likely to return rights in the near future. You will, of course, retain all rights to disposition of your work in future, and can withdraw your book from the Library at any time.
